After a very successful 20 year career, Rafael Nadal, has decided to retire from the sport. He is no longer able to play the way that he used to as a result of the physical toll that it took on him. While tennis is an individual sport, and this decision was completely on his own terms, tennis fans will miss seeing him on the court.

Your claim title is opinion-based in its assertion that Nadal is retiring "right on time," and therefore will be challenging to fact check. The article you linked, although from a reliable journalistic publication (New York Times), provides opinion-based commentary on the strategic value of Nadal's retirement timing, which is unlikely to be exactly corroborated by other reliable news sources. If you are seeking to fact check the claim as to whether or not Nadal is in fact retiring, you might consider changing the wording of your claim title to reflect that.

This is a pretty interesting topic that you chose. However, it is an opinion-written piece. It is essentially impossible to fact-check an opinion. Yes, the New York Times is a very trustworthy source, but to say that Rafael Nadal is retiring at the "right" time, to me, is a bit unhinged. I don't mean to tear you down because this is a very good informational piece. Next time, I would say choose a topic that allows for more ability to be fact-checked.
