With the long rumored reappearance of the Hatbox Ghost animatronic finally coming to fruition this month, many have been left outraged by the location of the animatronic and how it fits in to the overall storyline of the ride. Many claim its careless on Disney's part, others reaching to blame the money grab of the spinoff movie about the ride released recently in the claimed disruption of the ride that has been so special to so many for upwards of 65 years.

Is the storyline of the Haunted Mansion truly ruined by the placement of the Hatbox Ghost in the Endless Hallway scene in Act one instead of in the Act two spirit realm?
