It is untrue to say that Tom Hanks donned an anti-Trump shirt that read "Nope Not Again." Since the source came from a Twitter account, starting is untrustworthy. The individual is not a reliable source. This uses erroneous images, but there is no evidence that it is biased or maliciously intentional. It is noteworthy that Tom Hanks has publicly voiced his disapproval of the previous president, Trump; nonetheless, this in no way supports the assertion. Finally, I looked over some related stories and discovered Hanks had been falsely portrayed as wearing anti-Trump apparel in several instances. It is also clear this is Photoshop based on the articles below, proving this is wrong.

The claim that Tom Hanks wore a 'Nope Not Again' anti-Trump t-shirt is inexplicably false. Upon my investigation of the keywords, 'Tom Hanks Nope Not Again Shirt' multiple fact-checking sites had already proved this claim to be false. Based on a fact-check done by the website Snopes.com, while Hanks has expressed his disapproval of Trump and has donated in the past to the Biden presidential campaign, Hanks never wore this t-shirt. According to Snopes, the actor was wearing a dark gray t-shirt in the original photo; from there, the original image was manipulated/ altered to show the shirt. Snopes also confirmed through a reverse-image search tool that the corresponding image of Tom Hanks in the shirt could not be sourced reliably. The website also searched Hank's social medias and found no evidence of this image. Overall, this claim is highly misleading and ultimately completely fabricated for the purpose of endorsing the 'Nope Not Again' t-shirt.

The claim that Tom Hanks wore a 'Nope Not Again' anti-Trump t-shirt is false. Beginning with the source, the picture originated from x. With x being a social media platform, it is important to be careful of these platforms regarding claims as such. In an article on Reuters it says that the original picture of Hanks shows him in just a navy tee, rather than what is said in the claim. With the popularization of AI and manipulated content, this is a lot more common to occur among social media platforms.

After further investigation I found this claim to be false. The picture provided was manipulated to look like Tom Hanks. The website provided was a screenshot from @SteveLovesAmmo's Twitter page. I looked up his page and noticed that all of his posts have an agenda. His idea's are very extreme and reflect his opinions rather than facts. The ‘Nope Not Again’ anti-Trump t-shirt was digitally added along with Tom Hank's face.

The claim that "Tom Hanks wore a ‘Nope Not Again’ anti-Trump t-shirt" is completely false. First off, the source of this claim is from a Twitter account and social media is full of false content no matter the platform. People on social media can make up anything at anytime, especially when attempting to engagement farm, which is making claims just for likes and comments. Below is an article from Reuters explaining that this post was created by photoshop.

The claim that Tom Hanks wore an anti-Trump, 'Nope Not Again' shirt is certainly not true  The initial image seems to come from a post on X which is unreliable and filled with content that is false, fabricated, biased, and manipulated. It seems that this image is manipulated or curated through AI. According to the website Snopes, the image was put through Google's reverse image tool and there was no correlating image. Another user on X posted the same image of Hanks but the shirt reads something else. This can be a depiction of Photoshop and editing. No evidence proves this image to be credible or real.

Upon looking at the claim that Tom Hanks wore an anti-Trump t-shirt, I've found this to be overall false. A perfect example of manipulated content, this shirt appears to be fabricated through Adobe Photoshop. The post originates from X, and therefore cannot be reliable. The image is also seen in a website called "Tom Hanks Not Again Store", which also is unreliable. While a reverse Google search cannot find the exact image of Tom Hanks in his black shirt, a Snope fact check reveals that Hanks has been consistently used for manipulation from this photo, including different posts with the manipulated content. The post has also been fact checked from Reuters, which verifies that the photo was altered.

When looking on the Archive Today website at the image of Tom Hanks wearing the 'Nope Not Again' anti-Trump-shirt is not true. When doing some research it took me to the Reuters fact checking website it claimed that the images of Tom Hanks were photoshopped. Reuters shows that the original image came from a Daily Mail article. In this article it shows the same images of Tom Hanks and his wife holding hands but he is just wearing a plain navy blue shirt. In another article on Snopes, it also states that the image is photoshopped. This article goes into how the people who reposted and edited the original image are not a reliable source. The user has edited things in the past and making them not a trustworthy user. Therefore this original claim is false.

The claim that Tom Hanks wore an anti-Trump t-shirt is false. Reuters' fact-checking website checked this claim to reveal that it was false. The photo of Hanks in an anti-Trump shirt circulated X and Twitter. @helenckh originally posted the photo on X, and if you look at her bio, it's clear she is very much pro-Trump. The original photo of Hanks pre-photoshop was posted by the Daily Mail. In these photos Hank is wearing a navy blue shirt and holding hands with his wife. After fact-checking, it's clear that this was an example of a digitally-altered image.
