This video has been altered because the original video was posted by Variety and she is not holding a sign. As well as Taylor Swift is wearing long black gloves with her dress, but the altered video shows her gloveless hands holding the sign. As well as when you click on the link to the post, it is flagged with ‘manipulated media’. The account that uploaded this content mostly posts Donald Trump content, hence their username is @PapiTrumpo. A lot of the content looks altered and humorous, with reposted content being released to the followers. Although the account has 1 million followers, it does not seem like a valid source. @PapiTrumpo’s content mostly is humorous to clickbait users and creates comedic narratives about celebrities in hopes of supporting Trump. An official source, Forbes, states that “The video has been shared by multiple accounts on X and seen by over 4.5 million people at the time of this writing, though it’s unclear how many of those people know it’s a manipulated piece of media.The real video, which was first published by Variety, shows Taylor Swift at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. The original video makes it clear Swift never held a pro-Trump flag.” This source explains how the video is on different platforms and has been known to be manipulated as well as they reference the original creator of the video of Taylor Swift. Another official source, also known as the original source Variety, has the original video where there is no sign in Taylor Swift hands and instead she is wearing gloves and is fixing her dress for photos on the red carpet. Therefore, this claim is false.
