Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce paid $3.5 million to rent out Disney World for a day.

This news is satire. The photo is photoshopped or AI generated which also leaves me to believe this is false. When I went to research if any of this article was true I could not find anything. The only article I could find was an article by Snopes, a factchecking website which said that “Mouse Traps” only writes satire about Disney. They chose big names that are revenant right now and made an article out of it.

This is fake news, the entirety of this is not true and it you claim is not convincing. The source of the news article also linked on here is called "mousetrap". I think something that may help is if you went back and retracked who said this in the first place.

The claim "Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce paid $3.5 million to rent out Disney World for a day." is false information. The source that made this claim is Mouse Trap News. After further research Mouse Trap News is known to write fake stories about Disney Parks. Thi swebsite On February 12th 2024, it was said that Kelce and Swift rented out disney parks and "invited 10 of their closest friends to enjoy an empty Magic Kingdom with them." However Kelce on February 14th was at the Kansas City Cheifs parade. On the Mouse Trap News Website they disclose that all information is "not true, real, or accurate, but it is fun"

In this scenario I would say this is satire information being put out. This is because the website is fully transparents in the falsehood of the information they are putting out.

Despite commenters and viewers on TikTok speculating about the price and wishing they could do the same, this claim is false. The original article and video were created by Mouse Trap News, a site that specializes in satire and parody involving Disney and its parks. Snopes also weighed in calling out the satire, saying that because of their popularity, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are subject to many false claims about them. Snopes also questioned that a picture included of the couple in front of Cinderella Castle was AI generated, based on the picture itself as well as the lack of the picture being found anywhere else on the internet. This article was not intended to cause harm and won't, except maybe to fans who want to rent the park themselves someday. I would just enjoy the humor in this article and remember not to believe everything you read.

This article, which claims to be news, seems to be satire. Its validity is questioned by the accompanying image, which appears to have been altered using Photoshop or artificial intelligence. Upon examining the article's assertions, I was unable to locate any reliable sources or supporting documentation. The only source I came across was an article on the credible fact-checking website Snopes, which stated that the author, "Mouse Traps," focuses on creating humorous stuff about Disney and other modern subjects. They appear to have used pop culture and popular figures as inspiration for their made-up story.

It is a parody to say that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift paid $3.5 million to hire out Disney World for a day. This claim was made on the website MouseTrap News, which is a parody/satire website, according to Snopes. It was also made on their TikTok page, which had tens of thousands of views. Furthermore, after doing a reverse Google Image search, Snopes confirmed that the image in the original article was artificial intelligence (AI) generated. I also checked the "about" part of the MouseTrap News website, which claims to be the greatest satire and parody site in the world. We fabricate tales regarding Disney Parks-related topics. News about Disney Hotels and Resorts, announcements about Disney Parks, and Disney-created partnerships, you can be assured that anything you read here is not true, real, or accurate, but it is fun"

The claim that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce paid $3.5 million to rent out Disney for a day is a false claim by the satire news page Mouse Trap News. The Mouse Trap News’s About page clearly states that they are a parody/satire news page and states, “We write fake stories about Disney Parks stuff– anything you read here is not true, real, or accurate, but it is fun.” The image used in this article is also from Mouse Trap News but from another satire article that states Kelce and Swift will be getting married at Disney in the summer

After conducting some research, I found that this claim is satire. When I clicked on the provided link, the photo they used for the cover is clearly generated by AI. Also on the mouse trap website under their about section they emphasize that their site is a parody and "write fake stories about Disney Park stuff."

Also I did find that Taylor Swift is currently on her international tour for her eras tour. As of Feb. 26th, 2024 she is in Sydney, Australia and from there will be traveling to Singapore. So I think hypothetically it is impossible for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to rent Disney World for a day when Taylor swift is not in the US and currently on a world tour. I found this information from her official website.

The news released about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift renting out Disney World is satire. The website of "Mouse Trap News" is a parody website known for its satirical content. This is also the case with their TikTok account, where the rumor originated. The website, Snopes.com debunked this rumor when they discovered the image was AI-generated and traced it back to the original photo that was taken through a reverse Google image search. In the "About" section on the website, it claims to be the world's leading satire and parody site for Disney. This confirms that the story is 100% satirical and made up.

This claim has been proven satire. First thing is that mouse trap is a website where they create satire and misinformation for fun, If you look through there website you can actually find about them where they state "Mouse Trap News is the world’s best satire and parody site. We write fake stories about Disney Parks stuff. From Disney Park announcements to Disney Hotel and resort news to made-up Disney partnerships, you can be assured that anything you read here is not true, real, or accurate, but it is fun. So technically our slogan The Moused Trusted Name in Disney News isn’t true, but we thought it was creative and funny, so we are running with it." (Mouse trap). Also according to Magic Guides they state that technically they can't rent out Disney for a whole day but if not it would have to be an after hours event where it would cost approximately 180,000 dollars. So in conclusion even if Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wanted to rent out the park for the whole day it wouldn't really be possible.

This claim is false. The original article posted by Mouse Trap News doesn't have any verifiable sources that support the claim that Swift and Kelce rented Disney World/Magic Kingdom for a day. After scrolling to the bottom of this article, I noticed the website says, "To stay up to date on more very real Disney news like this totally made-up story, be sure to follow Mouse Trap News on TikTokk, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter," further emphasizing the false narrative they presented on their website. The article also features an AI-generated article with the couple in front of Cinderella's castle at Magic Kingdom. Snopes, a fact-checking website confirmed this image is false after reversing the image searched on Google and TinEye, finding no other images like the one posted on the website. This isn't the first time the pair has been under rumors created by parody websites and TikTok accounts.
