Dr. Fauci lied a lot. His vaccines and treatments killed more people than they helped. Masks didn’t work, social distancing didn’t matter, and lockdowns caused harm. He got rich while in charge.

---

Dr Fauci lied at every turn. His "vaccines" and "therapies" killed far more people than they saved. Masks can't and didn't work. Social Distancing was meaningless. And Lockdowns were deadly.

I'm a real doctor who has treated many more thousands than Fauci. He's a bureaucrat who became rich.

The claim that has been made is false. The source has that been used is not credible. BlueSky has been cited above but when taking a closer look, it can be seen that the account only has 12 followers and there is no specific evidence that there is research backing up their idea.

Even in the first month of COVID-19 vaccines, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System found that out of over 13 million doses, there were only a total of 113 deaths which were also found to not be correlated to the vaccine. This vaccine has saved 14.4 million peoples lives. The use of masks also decreased people chances of getting COVID-19 by over 50%.

I agree with your skepticism about using a post from BlueSky as a reliable source, especially one with only 12 followers and no clear credentials. Did you notice if the article on NewsDetective was just echoing social media posts without citing any experts or real data? That’s a red flag. I also appreciated that you referenced VAERS, but it’s important to clarify that VAERS reports aren’t verified cases; they’re unconfirmed submissions and often misinterpreted.

I completely agree with this view. I think that it is concerning that people may believe something like this when there seems to be little recognition of the account and no backup information to base the account on. Your use of proper statistics also helps support this claim.

I agree with your points that the BlueSky user is not a reliable source and your backing of the COVID vaccines and use of masks with use of the CDC website as a source but your response could use a reply to the users statements that Fauci is not a real doctor and that social distancing was meaningless.

I agree with everything you said about BlueSky not being a reliable source and untrustworthy. I like how instead of just saying it isn't a reliable source, you went into more detail and gave us clear evidence to support it. Using specific numbers and statistics are much more convincing and your sources are from the CDC which are reliable sources.

I like how you questioned the credibility of the original source by pointing out the low follower count and lack of evidence from BlueSky. Also, the stats you brought in from the CDC about vaccine safety and mask effectiveness were super clear and really backed up your argument well.

The claim that is made is false and Dr Fauci helped many people with his efforts during the pandemic. The sourced used is not credible and gives false information. Spreading this information on social media with no evident information harms societies views of important situations. Dr Fauci's research was able to help the lives of many people in america and globally with his views of a pandemic. The situation was hard to deal with but the vaccine saved many lives and slowed the disease extremely.

Studies below show that only 113 deaths were linked to the vaccine proving that with over 13 million doses is helped society.

This claim is entirely false, The author of this claims to be a doctor but has no other credentials than Dr in his blue sky username, and has a minuscule following on his account. The claim that vaccines have killed more people than they helped is proven untrue by the CDC which states zero death certificates have been attributed to vaccination. The article also states that there is no association between cardiac arrest and those who are vaccinated. However, those who were infected by COVID-19 had significantly higher chances for cardiac complications rather than those who had been vaccinated. The claim that masks didn't work was also proven false in studies by Yale which found that with surgical masks distributed in villages, there was a 12% reduction in COVID symptoms, and where cloth masks were distributed there also was a 5% reduction in symptoms. Their studies also found that once masks were distributed there was a 9% decrease in infection and a decrease of 35% for those age 60+ wearing a surgical mask.

I agree that that that claim is entirely false. The source they put has been proven to be a miss leading website. Your sources are trusted and true.

What you state as a whole is completely true. This statement and claim that "Zenyoga" says is completely untrue. Saying that masks didn't work, even when it's shown that the spread was reduced.

I agree. This claim is totally false. The person who posted it just has “Dr” in their username with no proof of real credentials, and barely any followers. That alone makes the source sketchy.

You did a good job pointing out that the CDC says no deaths have been officially linked to vaccines. Also, I really liked that you included the Yale study showing that masks actually did reduce symptoms and infection; real evidence like that is way more trustworthy than random posts.

I agree with your claim against this claim! I think that your sources are thorough and show that you took the time to find them. I like how you mention the fact about the CDC, it puts the entire claim into perspective.

This claim is untruthful. Looking at the source of doctor-ted on BlueSky, his bias/agenda is the right wing. He has twelve followers and claims to be a doctor, specifically a retired anesthesiologist, Ted Noel from Florida as written on his podcast website that is linked to a few BlueSky posts https://www.spreaker.com/episode/dr-ted-noel--26110981. The organization who hosts the podcast, “Fringe Radio Network”, is not focused on any medical or educational topics but rather Bible prophecy and conspiracies. On the Florida Department of Health’s website, searching for Theodore Noel brings up a license verification page, where it shows that his medical license expired all the way back in 2014. Somewhere this user could have heard this claim is right wing media outlets like Fox News with Tucker Carlson. Science.org states that; “Carlson asserted Fauci had committed “very serious crimes” and said he “apparently engineered the single most devastating event in modern American history.” Carlson, infamous for assailing people’s looks, also called Fauci a “an even tinier version of the Dalai Lama” and a ‘Stalinist midget.’” According to News in Health (in 2022), COVID-19 vaccines were reported to be associated with only 55 deaths, with older people being predominant throughout the over 8 billion vaccinations- and even then, near half of the cases could not determine if the vaccine was the true cause of death. According to JAMA Network and Delaware.gov, masks, especially well-fitting ones, are effective against the spread of COVID-19, as they prevent droplets from spreading, and can prevent people from catching disease- they can be especially important for people who got sick easily. Wearing a multilayer mask is estimated to prevent 50-70% of particles and droplets.

This claim is false. The claim made seems to be heavily bias. The provided link leads to a social media platform with only 12 followers, making this person not very credible in their work. In addition, no other source of information is provided other than this social media platform.

This claim is also misleading. In an academic paper posted by the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health, they estimated that base on the reported number of deaths by COVID-19, the vaccine prevented 14.4 million deaths. However, it's important to note that due to the uneven distribution of vaccines in other countries, poorer populations may not had the same access to vaccines, leadings to an overall decrease in their effectiveness.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9537923/

Even in these poorer countries, masks did prevent the risk of COVID-19. Self-reported mask users in these communities users that selected "always" when asked how often they use one, researchers relate it back to a 62% reduction in predicted COVID-19.

Regardless of what you say about his vaccine killing thousands, it has also saved millions globally. The side effects even if there shown, are mild and reasonable.

The claim that has been made is false. Looking into the account that has posted this, it is consisted of 12 followers by a doctor that does not support their claims. There is no proof that they have seen more patients than Dr. Fauci and he makes empty claims that masks and social distance were meaningless. To state that the vaccine killed more people than it saved is far from the truth. It was founded that the Moderna's Phase 3 clinical data in December 2020 showed 95% efficacy for the prevention of Covid-19. It was also proven that in the early stages of the vaccine there 113 deaths that were not correlated to the vaccine when 13 million people received it. Masks were also proven effective because they filter virus particles. Spreading this misinformation on social media is misleading without doing thorough research. Sources

This is absolutely correct. The original account lacks credible evidence and only misrepresents public health data. Just because they claim to be a doctor does not give them credibility. Not only is this claim false its actually dangerous. Thanks for citing your sources and combating this false claim.

The claim that is being made is completely false here. The source that was provided along this claim is very unreliable, coming from an account that has 12 followers, meaning it is more likely a single person rather than a government official who would have information on this topic. In an article by NIH, they state "vaccinations prevented and estimated 14.4 million deaths from Covid-19 in a year." This clearly proves that the vaccine helped people instead of causing more damage.

I agree with you in terms of this claim being false and the source being unreliable. Trusting a source that comes from a random account with 12 followers is very naive. In order to enhance your response I would say you need to add in the links to these statements your writing. Seeing what you said with so direct think to back it up makes your argument a bit less strong.

This claim is not supported by credible evidence. Dr. Fauci's guidance on vaccines, masks, and social distancing was based on the best available scientific data at the time. The vaccines have been shown to save lives, and the public health safety measures that were  implemented during the pandemic were aimed at controlling the spread of the virus.

This claim is false. It originated from a Twitter post where users share information anonymously. The individual behind the post claims to be a doctor, but just like their statement, there is no verifiable evidence to support that. They did not cite any sources for their claims, which makes the information highly questionable and unreliable.

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s research and leadership contributed to saving millions of lives. While there were 113 deaths associated with the vaccine, it’s important to recognize that the vaccine prevented countless more.

Additionally, there is evidence supporting the effectiveness of masks. Research confirmed that:
“The findings of this report reinforce that in addition to being up to date with recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, consistently wearing face masks or respirators while in indoor public settings protects against the acquisition of SARS-CoV-2 infection.” Meaning that along with masks, the vaccines are very important in minimizing the spread of the vaccine.
