I feel like this was a poor way to put out this information. The link added with this statement isn't always reliable. I think Twitter is a platform where you can just say whatever you want. This headline did grab my attention though because of how alerting and confused I was. It did have a lot to say and the pictures supported with this was adding to your claim.

There is absolutely nothing to support this claim. For starters, there are no actual articles anywhere that bring up this same claim. The source cited is from a social media post made on January 6, 2025 using extreme wording in all caps with no sources or evidence within their post at all. The account has, since this post, made several posts expressing contempt for republicans, so the original post is likely satire.

This headline is extremely false, and misleading to viewers. The link provided to back up the claim was made through twitter under the account "@vanillaopinions.bsky.social". The post was made in January 2025 when that picture was originally took in January 2017. Which was tied to the "Women's March".

Lmao Good one!

This one is obviously false and this is what we call "bait"

The claim comes from a random twitter user with zero evidence to back anything up, much like the rest of twitter. The thread has a picture of protestors with the capitol building in the background. The Image was however taken back in 2017 during a "Woman's March"

There also has been no other news outlets reporting on this so called event of "Kamala supporters storming the capitol" its also a bit late in the year to do that.

The claim that this article proposes is false for a handful of reasons. Firstly, this article was posted on Bluesky, which is a social media platform that allows anyone to share their opinion without checking. Secondly, the photo used for this claim has now way of proving that stormed anything, much less holding any of the leaders within hostage. Regardless where this photo came from, or even if it is describing the event the claim it is, there is not plausible or logical evidence to make any assurance of the truth.

The claim that Kamala Harris supporters stormed the capital building is completely untrue. The source of this claim comes from the app 'bsky' and is unreliable. Additionally, the image used to support the claim is false- it is an image taken from the 2017 women's march, which was peaceful and unrelated to any election.

The claim that Kamala Harris supporters have stormed the capital, currently holding house and senate republican leaders hostage inaccurate and and example of satire and misinformation. The link brings you to a tweet with the exact claim and a singular photo of what looks like a march or protest. After searching the image online, I found two articles in which the exact same image are used to highlight the Women’s March that occurred in 2017 after Trumps inauguration. They were not “storming the capital” or “holding the house and senate republican leaders hostage”, they were marching to support women’s rights and protesting against Trumps agenda.
