This source is true in the claim that @runforsomething.net has seen a large increase in people signing up to run for office. To begin, this tweet was actually by one of the founders of runforsomething.net, Amanda Litman. Secondly, the Politico article states that since Trump won the 2024 election last year, about 20,000 people have joined the organization. This tweet is correct in its claims as it's restating factually accurate data, just with less numbers and more descriptors.
