After yesterday's events in the White House, Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway's largest marine fuel companies, appears to have announced that it will no longer refuel American Navy vessels.

Haltbakk has called on other European companies to refuse service to American forces.

This seems to be true. After the meeting between president Trump and president Zelenskyy on February 28, Haltbakk Bunkers's CEO and owner, Gunnar Gran, announced on their Facebook page that they would no longer be supplying fuel to all American ships in Norway. "Not a single liter will be delivered until Trump is finished," Gran told Kystens Næringsliv (https://www.kystens.no/nyheter/nekter-a-selge-drivstoff-til-amerikanerne-vi-har-et-moralsk-kompass/2-1-1786648). Gran did call for a boycott on America as shown in the Bluesky post's screenshot from the Haltbakk Group's Facebook.

However, the Norwegian government issued a statement from Minister of Defence Tore O. Sandvik that was not in support of this movement. "We have seen reports raising concerns about support for US Navy vessels in Norway. This is not in line with the Norwegian government’s policy. I can confirm that all requested support has been provided. The U.S. and Norway maintain a close and strong defense cooperation. American forces will continue to receive the supply and support they require from Norway," said Sandvik (https://www.regjeringen.no/en/aktuelt/statement-from-minister-of-defence-tore-o.-sandvik-on-recent-reports-concerning-naval-support/id3090130/)
