Mossad has spies operating on college campuses and in local punk communities. Recently, my DIY communal living house had to kick out our roommate Lix after finding out they were working with Mossad.

There is evidence that indicates that Mossad has some connection to the monitoring of college campuses, specifically collecting information on LGBTQ and queer individuals. I was unable to find information regarding punk communities or whether non-binary people were targeted, however. According to a New-Yorker article, Psy-Group, a private Israeli intelligence firm, that former Mossad Operatives staff attempted to collect information on activists located on college campuses to tarnish reputations and diminish support. PM Press published an article claiming that reports indicate the Israeli government formed a task force to carry out covert operations at US universities. These plans include "naming and shaming" individuals identified as perpetrators of antisemitism, aiming to compel universities to distance themselves from these individuals. I was unable to locate primary sources on this topic; therefore, while there is credible evidence that appears to point in a certain direction, the lack of proven public evidence stops me from drawing any certainty in my conclusion.

There is no publicly available evidence to support claims that Mossad has infiltrated local punk communities or communal living houses. While concerns about surveillance are valid, and maybe a little anti-semetic it's important to distinguish between documented operations and unverified allegations.

Not to be insensitive to the queer community, but this claim is serious and inflammatory, suggesting that a foreign intelligence agency (Mossad) is infiltrating college campuses, punk communities, and even specific housing situations. These are red flags for potential misinformation or conspiracy theories, so it’s worth pausing before sharing or believing it. Additionally, there doesn’t seem to any original post, article, or any definite evidence to support this. Making such a claim can invoke paranoia for undeserving people. Without verification, it falls into the category of unverified anecdote/ conspiracy theory. It’s best not to accept or spread such a claim without further evidence from reliable, independent sources.

I really like the break down of not only how this kind of rhetoric can damage a community, but the comprehension of how these Mossad agents are attacking not only queer people, but communal housing and punk communities. I totally missed the housing part and I think that’s a critical component to understanding how baseless this claim really is.

The original user claims that the Mossad (The National Intelligence Agency of Israel) has spies on college campuses and in punk communities. First off the user does not name a source to support or refute this claim. I initially found a secondary source, The Nation, that supported this claim, stating “The ICC pools resources from all of the campus organizations. So that they’re tapped in on all angles”. A statement allegedly taken from Lila Greenberg in 2016, a senior field organizer at AIPAC, when in conversation with Tony Kleinfeld. A man who was recording undercover for a docuseries “The Lobby-USA” which was never released. This piece of information was also in another article published on The Arab Center Washington DC. Though both The Nation and The Arab Center Washington DC are known to be very biased and publish distorted information. According to several media bias testers including All Sides, Ad Fontes Media, and Media Bias/Fact Check, they found The Nation to be far left in bias and below 50% credibility. I was unable to find information on this claim within any major/credible news organizations. With all the information given, this claim cannot be proven true as the only evidence that I could find to verify it, is not only almost a decade old but also requires taking the word of a student (Lila Greenberg) with no data to back up her claims. In addition neither article mentioned the punk community as well. Therefore, with the given information I believe this claim to be false.

I have found absolutely no evidence of Mossad operations in the punk community in the United States, nor have I found a single person allegedly apart of this super secret plan to destroy our punk youth. This claim comes from out of nowhere; except anti-semitism and ignorant fear. I would also like to know what college campus this is apparently occurring on.

I can't find any credible, publicly documented evidence that Israel’s intelligence agency (Mossad) specifically targets non-binary or queer communities on college campuses or in punk circles. The claims lack credible evidence.

The claim that Mossad is particularly monitoring the queer community, particularly non-binary individuals, is not backed by reliable evidence. While Israeli surveillance equipment was exported to various nations with human rights abuses, there is no proof which identifies Mossad as directly targeting non-binary individualsThere has been evidence that Israeli spyware has been used by foreign governments, such as Azerbaijan and Indonesia, to spy on LGBTQ+ individuals and dissidents (Middle East Eye). These operations, however, were done by these governments, not Mossad. Similarly, a Common Dreams report noted that repressive governments had employed Israeli surveillance technology to persecute LGBTQ+ people, but again, the usage and abuse of the technology fell on the purchasing countries, not Mossad. Therefore, although it is right to be concerned about the abuse of surveillance technology, the specific allegation that Mossad is persecuting non-binary individuals is unfounded.
