The claim that Mossad is particularly monitoring the queer community, particularly non-binary individuals, is not backed by reliable evidence. While Israeli surveillance equipment was exported to various nations with human rights abuses, there is no proof which identifies Mossad as directly targeting non-binary individuals. There has been evidence that Israeli spyware has been used by foreign governments, such as Azerbaijan and Indonesia, to spy on LGBTQ+ individuals and dissidents (Middle East Eye). These operations, however, were done by these governments, not Mossad. Similarly, a Common Dreams report noted that repressive governments had employed Israeli surveillance technology to persecute LGBTQ+ people, but again, the usage and abuse of the technology fell on the purchasing countries, not Mossad. Therefore, although it is right to be concerned about the abuse of surveillance technology, the specific allegation that Mossad is persecuting non-binary individuals is unfounded.
