Ozempic is a brand name for semaglutide, a medication initially developed to help treat type 2 diabetes. It mimics a natural hormone that helps regulate insulin and blood sugar. More recently, it's been approved for helping in weight management in people with obesity or overweight with health problems.
Source: FDA approval records; manufacturer (Novo Nordisk); Mayo Clinic overview.“Ozempic (semaglutide) is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It’s not a weight loss drug directly but can lead to weight loss as a side effect due to slower digestion and reduced appetite.”
As for the claim of it being a bioterrorism attack obviously its a far-reach and an exaggeration to say the least, Ozempic is a lab-developed drug that's been studied extensively in clinical trials. Ozempic is a drug that the user can choose to use for whatever their intention truly is, however I dont think calling it a bioterrorism attack is the correct term.
