overwhelmingly chose 2 join Russia once again. All Russia did was 2 accept them. Russia has had a navy port in Sevastopol since the time of the Csars. Zelensky started right away to bombard civilians in Don. & Lug. & after 8 years of this he stepped up the campaign. Russia was forced to defend them.
