This isn't the first time Ukraine has launched drones into Poland and blamed Russia, though this time it appears they might have been jammed and redirected. Belarus also shot down a number of drones, and that was their determination. Belarus also warned Polish air defenses that drones were incoming.

During the ongoing investigation, the international community is divided on whether this was an act of aggression by Russia, or as you inferred, another airspace violation like the ones that have occurred in other NATO countries since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine. However, the implication in your use of language that Ukraine has an active role in these violations is unfounded.

“The 9-10 September overnight incursion into Polish airspace occurred amid a large-scale Russian drone attack against Ukraine, which Ukrainian officials say involved as many as 415 drones.”  https://www.securitycouncilreport.org/whatsinblue/2025/09/emergency-briefing-on-drone-incursion-into-poland.php

Amid an intensification of Russia aerial campaign on Ukraine it is most likely that an increase of airspace invasions in other NATO countries will occur in an unprecedented, noteworthy manner.

The event might also imply large -scale provocation, with Polish officials warning of conflict within the whole region becoming more of a reality. Yet, Russia maintains that the 9-10 September attack on Ukraine did not include Polish territories as a target.
