It's not clear that Russia is the oppressor. That's the Western spin. The Orange Revolution didn't just happen. Ukraine is a diverse country, and the Dnieper River does establish a clear divide.

An EU court already found Kyiv complicit in a massacre in Eastern Ukraine. That makes Kyiv an oppressor.

Multiple claims are made in this post, but the main one appears to be false. In my research, I have not been able to find a EU court case that found Ukraine complicit in a massacre in eastern Ukraine. I did, however, find a recent court case by the European Court on Human Rights which found Ukraine complicit in the 2014 arson attack on the Trade Unions Building in Odessa as seen in these court documents (https://www.echr.coe.int/w/judgment-concerning-ukraine-2). This may be the massacre referred to, although Odessa is located in the south of Ukraine, not the east. Otherwise, I could not find any relevant EU court cases. Whether or not Ukraine is an oppressor is a far more complicated matter, and is closer to opinion.

False
