There is some truth to this statement, but also some exaggeration. https://youtu.be/RH_voEMZ0tQ?si=y-MnKf_r7GTter2m here is the original FOX News video that the main claim is referring to. The headline of Antifa gears up for MASSIVE protest is misleading. Trump authorized the national guard to Portland but a federal judge, Karin Immergut, has issued a temporary restraining order which prevents the deployment. Here is the source on that: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/newsom-says-he-will-sue-trump-sending-california-national-guard-oregon-2025-10-05/?utm_source So while not completely false, this big headline has some more layers to it and is not warranted as there are no troops in Portland and there can't be yet if at all. There are no credible sources to say there is even an organized protest especially one led by "Antifa" as well. There have been anti-Trump and ICE protests but there is no one singular "massive" protest that has been established. One other point is that in Portland, these aren't neccissarily just "protests", they are more like riots. Buildings have been attacked as well as federal officers. This poses another question to this headline: is "Antifa" protesting or straight up rioting and committing crimes. https://www.koin.com/news/portland/three-arrests-made-as-protests-continue-at-portland-ice-building/  https://www.opb.org/article/2025/10/06/portland-weekend-ice-protests-tear-gas-national-guard-restraining-orders/
Exaggerated/ Misleading
