Every opinion poll shows that the majority of Israeli Jews supports the Israeli governments actions in Gaza and the forced ethnic cleansing of that territory.  Only by refusing to accept the harsh reality of facts can you bleat about propaganda giving Israelis a bad press.

Only a third of Israelis believe that Israel should govern Gaza after the conflict is over. Moreover, 53% of Israelis have a reportedly negative opinion of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. However, it is true that a minority of Israelis support a peaceful, two-state solution, only 21% – a percentage that has been declining since 2013. 51% of Israelis say that it is unlikely the rest of the world will recognize an independent Palestinian state within the next 5 years. A majority of 56 percent of Israeli Jews supported the "transfer (forced expulsion) of Arab citizens of Israel to other countries." However, it is difficult to make a substantiated claim that the majority of Israeli Jews support the forced ethnic cleansing in the area, at least through reliable sources. The majority do support the forced relocation of Arab Palestinians.

My main sources for this fact check were the Pew Research Center and the Genocide Watch. A secondary source I used was Amnesty International. I got the percentages and figures from Pew Research Center. From the Genocide Watch, I got the quote about 56% of Israeli Jews supporting the transfer (forced expulsion) of Arab citizens of Israel to other countries. I got more background information from Amnesty International. The Genocide Watch is certainly left-leaning, as well as Amnesty International. Pew maintains relative neutrality. I was not able to find credible evidence to specifically support that the majority of Israeli Jews support the ethnic cleansing (killing) of Palestinians, but the majority do support the actions of the Israeli government in Gaza when it comes to the expulsion of Palestinians.

You mentioned that only 21% of Israelis support a 2 helpful state solution, but it might be helpful to add how opinions change during acts of war or threats. But I like your response.

Ever since the horrific October 7th attacks by Hamas in Israel, there has been a dramatic response by the Israeli government to make sure it never happens again. This came in a wave of ground and air offenses in the Gaza strip, aiming for total surrender by Hamas. Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that, "This will be a victory of good over evil, of light over darkness, of life over death. In this war we will stand steadfast, more united than ever, certain in the justice of our cause" (BBC). Netanyahu’s rhetoric prompts unity among Israelites, but not all of them.

According to polls published by the Israeli Democracy Institute, 78% of Jewish Israelis believe that Israel is making substantial efforts to minimize the destruction in Gaza. Furthermore, 79% of Jewish Israelis said that they were not troubled by the reports of the famine and suffering of Palestinians in the region.

Netanyahu believes that the western media is spreading lies about what is happening in Gaza, and that the only starving people are the hostages.

On the surface level, it can be observed that not only do Jewish Israelites support the government's actions, but believe they are doing what is necessary to serve the greater good.

Recently, The Guardian, a British newspaper sent a team to Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel to interview citizens on their opinions of the war. Almost every single individual in some way stated that they supported the government's actions, and that the suffering that is seen online is because of Hamas. At the time stamp of 7:12, a working class Jew told the reporter that all Palestinians played a role in the October 7th attacks on Israel, and that all young children will grow up to be terrorists in the region. Furthermore, at the time stamp of 11:00, a demonstrator with a “Palestina Lives Matter” shirt, described the fact that most Israelis do not believe in this message. Overall, it can be understood that the majority of Israeli citizens do not condemn the government's aggressive actions, and that war is the only solution for eternal peace.
