Ps yea majority of Russians think most of Ukraine is actually Russian. Except western Ukraine     So what

The person who posted this claim on the bsky app, shares mostly political opninionated post about current ongoing conflicts. Because their account is nameless there is no way to trace if this claim is from a trusted source. The claim being posted in late December about current information tells that they aren't trying to recycle old facts as new. No other media outlets are sharing this information or attempting to make the connection that this person was making. Innitially the post seems questionable based on the format of their text, having no details to back it up, and not tied to any news source. If you look up the death toll for the US Iraq war there " At a minimum of 134,000 civilians killed" by the us during the nearly 8 year war (Crawford). While the death count of inocent Ukranian civlians in the Russia Ukraine conflict was 13,300 deaths within the last 3 years of war (Encyclopedia Britannica). The claim is correct, but lacks context as to lenght of wars being compared.

I agree how this faceless accounts like this one on all social media sites cant be trusted and the addition of the actual sources with verifable numbers from each of the wars is a very good response. I wouldnt say its misleading and more that it is true but shouldnt be taken as true at first due to the og account

I think you're right to be skeptical about the Bluesky post, as I don't see any other reputable sources making the same claim. The original post seems pretty vague and unsourced, which I think raises a lot of red flags.

I think it is valid that you are skeptical of Bluesky, as it is mostly opinionated. Also after research there aren't any trustworthy sources that back this persons claim. This persons claim can't be trustworthy because it is just a nameless account on a social website, with no statistics to back them up.

I also don't trust the Bluesky posts, in all of the posts there are lacks of a traceable source and the absence of reporting from other media outlets. I also found similar evidence supporting the main claim.
