Laura Loomer ennustaa, että Yhdysvaltoihin on tulossa suuri terrori-isku, joka on hänen mukaansa paljon pahempi kuin syyskuun 11. päivän isku.

It is true that Laura Loomer made this claim, but the claim itself is untrue. Laura Loomer is a far-right political activist and a media personality. She informally advises President Trump and has been banned from major social media platforms for hate speech and harassment. Loomer does not have the credibility to be making a claim like this and it was done so to cause a reaction and get attention. MSN News writes that she made her claim without presenting any evidence or citing intelligent sources. While global tensions are high with the Iran-Isreal conflict, the US security agencies have made no warnings matching Loomer's claims.

Laura Loomer did make this claim, however it is untrue. After researching more about Laura Loomer, I found she is an American far right political activist and conspiracy theorist. Loomer posted on X "massive Islamic terror attack’ in the US, potentially ‘10 times worse than 9/11". This was posted with no evidence or citations. Times Now states that Loomer is a controversial figure who has had multiple suspensions from social media sites in the past due to numerous provocative statements.  It is known that global tensions are high and authorities are being very vigilant, however there is no established evidence supporting Loomers statement.

this is a good response, I feel that you should cite sources like this article I found from BBC that talks about this post.https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly8y27dwgpo

I like how you focused on the lack of proof there was in the initial claim. By pointing out that they provided no evidence or citations, you showed that a controversial prediction like this is just a simple guess without any facts to back it up whatsoever. I also like how you pointed out that this person who made the claim is a person with bad history on the internet in prior scenarios, making their words much less reliable and just a complete guess.

I enjoyed reading your fact check, and after researching more about Laura Loomer, I also found there are many claims she has made that have been proven false or blatantly a spread of disinformation. You made some great points, but I do wish you had provided more primary sources to strengthen your claims.

I liked how you researched Laura Loomer to check her credibility. One thing you can add would be a stronger source, my personal favorite is Associated Press to confirm there's no real evidence behind the claim.

The claim says Laura Loomer warned that a terrorist attack worse than 9/11 is coming to the U.S. The MSN article shows that she did say this, but there's no actual proof behind it. When I looked into it more it shows that she did say this, but there is no proof behind it. When I looked into it more nothing from real sources like the government supports what she said. It seems like she is just guessing based on what is going on with Iran and not actual evidence. I think it is more of a conspiracy idea. I also checked who she is and she is known for being controversial and speaking misinformation, so she is not the most realible source. Overall she did say it, but there is no real evidence so the claim is false.

According to my findings, this claim is not supported by any evidence and is solely a conspiracy-based claim posted by Laura Loomer on X. The U.S. government has said that terrorism is a threat, but that is completely different from saying that we are currently at risk of an attack worse than 9/11.

The original primary source I found was Laura Loomer's X post. She posted on March 24th, "Soon, there will be a massive Islamic terror attack in America and the perpetrators will likely have financial ties to podcasters and those who are sowing discord for foreign nations in America. I predict there will be many casualties and only then will it maybe set in that people have been conned into supporting a terrorist psyop to distract you from the threat of Islam while the enemy plotted to destroy our country from within with botted conspiracy theories. It will likely be 10 times worse than 9/11. And it’s going to trace right back to the Woke Reich in some way. I just have this sense" (Laura Loomer X post). According to this post, she quite literally said this is her prediction and that she "just has this sense." Absolutely no viable evidence is quoted or even alluded to.

Additionally, the next source I found was the FBI's threat-warning website, which explains the differences between specific and credible threats. This is important to familiarize yourself with, so you can distinguish between viable threats. Laura Loomers X post is not credible.

According to an article by Kanishka Singh and Gabriella Borter, Loomer is described as a "far right conspiracy theorist." She has a history of posting racist, hateful speech, and other harmful rhetoric.
