This is very misleading, and a lot of valuable context is missing. On Holocaust Rememberance Day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed legislation that formally criminalizes hate speech, with an emphasis on antisemitism. People who commit any form of conduct that is deemed to be hate speech or a hate crime, that would have previously would only been subject to public condemnation will now be held criminally liable. Anyone who labels Israel's conduct in Palestine and the West Bank will still be protected by Ukraine's constitution, and Ukraine has condemned Israel's actions towards innocent Palestinians in the past, and supports a two-state solution.

For this claim I found an Article called myth Detector and their article basically states that the allegations that Ukraine banning criticism of Israel are false and misleading. It states that Ukraine recently updated its criminal code to specifically punish antisemitic acts such as hate speeched towards Jews and violence or threats motivated by antisemitism. The law does NOT say that criticizing Israel is illegal. It also says that online posts have distorted the law by falsely claiming Ukraine had outlawed calling Israels actions a genocide. The article concludes by saying this claim is manipulative because it confuses anti hate laws with censorship of political speech about Israel. A secondary source I found stated the same thing in different wording. When I tried to contact my sources, I did not get a reply. The evidence of the law supports the claim against what is being stated here. And I could not find any biases that might be shown here.
