Firstly this TikTok claims that Beyonce and Chrissy Teigan visited Epstein's island. The source TikTok already sends up a red flag about whether this source is legitimate or not. The TikTok user who posted this seems to be just a random person from somewhere in the world who would most likely not have a list of everyone who visited. Another thing that makes it obvious this isn't a good source is that the information was published in a message group chat. The headline does correlate with the video so it is not trying to trick you about what the video is claiming, but the information is from a. completely unreliable source. According to a list provided by The United States District Court neither of these two women are on the list.

Hello! You did a great job with this fact-check. I agree that TikTok is not a legitimate source especially if the account isn't verified or from the social media account of a news source like ABC, CBS, BBC, etc. I also appreciate that you included a link to the legal court document. This proves that your fact-check has legitimate evidence. I would only add a link to other news sources such as the one I am providing below from CBS News. Having more than one source is very helpful and the court document is lengthy. CBS is a short and reliable source for people to read!

I like how the document you provided from The United States District Court lists individuals associated with Epstein, and neither Beyoncé nor Chrissy Teigen are on that list. This suggests that the claim in the TikTok video is likely false.

This claim is false. As the evidence is simply a list of celebrities names (with Beyonce and Chrissy Teigen not on there) but does not imply that evidence is simply true. We can see that the evidence in the specific TikTok video is a iMessage Group Chat, which means this is set up to be fake so that specific user can just get likes, views, and comments towards the video. Overall, the claim is false and evidence along with it makes it unreliable as well.

I do believe in this statement. I also believe Tik Tok isn't the best place to get news but sometimes it is correct information. There is some undeniable ties that could prove to this statement being true. In addition, Beyonce's ties to Diddy??? She seems to be involved in those types of scandals which is not a good sign at all.

Your source is unreliable because of the user and the site. It was found on TikTok, a social media platform that allows people to post whatever they want, as long as they remain within the community guidelines. This allows users to post misinformation easily. The user, Mohamed Deeq, has no clear agenda and posts a combination of memes about politics and unfounded political information. It would be more valid if it were posted by a verified news source such as NBC, CNN, or NPR.

I found two sources that addressed the rumors of the celebrities on the island. The first was by AFP Fact Check, the only source I could find addressing Beyoncé on the island. They addressed rumors that she was one of the defendants in the Ghislaine Maxwell case, proving with court documents to prove it https://factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.9TU9DJ. In searching for information about Chrissy Teigan, every website on the first page displayed the same message: that she was targeted by QAnon theorists, and she spent a day blocking over a million people on Twitter, harassing her. Her public statement was that she has never met Epstein, and has never been to the island or on the plane. There is no ample evidence to convict her of a relationship with Epstein https://globalnews.ca/news/7188815/chrissy-teigen-twitter/. While these aren’t major news sources, they are much more reputable than a TikTok account with no evidence.
