Oregon Duck being added Fortnite

This is not true. In the user's bio, they stated that they are a satire/ parody page. From my knowledge, Fortnight has not collaborated with any Universities as well. If you look up anything that involves the Oregon Duck's mascot and Fortnite nothing comes up.

This claim in satirical and is proven to be satirical by the content creator who posted it. The biography of the account states: "Lieutenant in the Meme Wars, Serving up Duck Parodies // Memes // Satire with a little Thirst" (https://twitter.com/ThirstyyDuck) which is a direct clue to how the post about the Oregon Duck being an added character tp Fortnite is false and is a parody.

FALSE: When you click on the account "Thirsty Duck" that published this information right in the bio, it says "Duck parodies." This account is known publicly for being a meme page and not being truthful. In addition, when doing a basic google search for this information there is nothing other than what this account posted.

This claim is false. Although the NFL is partnered with Fortnite in adding "skins" to the characters, the Oregon Duck is not being added to the list of skins. The X account, ThirstyyDuck originated the post in Feb. of 2024, with the caption "The ONLY deserving mascot to be featured on Fortnite, Don’t be jealous that yours can’t make the cut." However, this is not true. The account is known for posting false information. The account's bio states, "Lieutenant in the Meme Wars, Serving up Duck Parodies // Memes // Satire with a little Thirst." A commenter asked, "Wait when is this happening? I haven't played in years but I'll logon for this," to which Thirsty Duck responded, "Sorry for the false news I doodled this up. But with this kind of reaction perhaps @FNCreate should consider this."

The idea that Fortnite will feature the Duck mascot of the University of Oregon is unfounded and has not been supported by any credible research. Even though an article mentions how much the football players in Oregon are enjoying the game, this graphic—which was added by a user on Twitter—does not have the authority to support this assertion.

This is False. The user who posted this has a history of humor and memes on their page and put no evidence that the duck was being added to Fortnite. I looked up the claim and found 0 articles addressing it meaning the user either heard it from an outside source or completely made it up. https://x.com/DuckDiddler/status/1759775439889768923?s=42

This is a very false statement. Although it would be very cool Fortnite has yet to post it and he is the only man who has posted about anything about it. He also posted this is February and Fortnite still has not released it.Overall its just fan spreading this lie about the skin. Upon examining the image, it's clear that the original source is from the Thirstyy Duck account. A search for "Oregon Duck added to Fortnite" reveals no evidence of any collaboration between the University and Fortnite, indicating that this claim is indeed false.

This claim is false, as the "X" user @DuckDiddler says "The ONLY deserving mascot to be featured on Fortnite, Don't be jealous that yours can't make the cut." From my experience, Fortnite has not collaborated with any college programs and their mascotts to make skins, emotes, or anything considered with any Universities. Even if you look up Fortnite + Oregon Ducks Mascot nothing comes up.

The claim that was originally told by Kelley_Walcott that “the Oregon Duck is Being Added to Fortnite” is false, but a great idea for advertising and attracting a crowd. The “X” account @DuckDiddler says “The ONLY deserving mascot to be featured on Fortnite. Don’t be jealous that yours can’t make the cut.” This doesn’t mean that the mascot is being added, only an opinion that the duck should be the only deserving mascot to be featured in the game. This is by far a false claim.
