Oregon Duck being added Fortnite

This is not true. In the user's bio, they stated that they are a satire/ parody page. From my knowledge, Fortnight has not collaborated with any Universities as well. If you look up anything that involves the Oregon Duck's mascot and Fortnite nothing comes up.

This claim in satirical and is proven to be satirical by the content creator who posted it. The biography of the account states: "Lieutenant in the Meme Wars, Serving up Duck Parodies // Memes // Satire with a little Thirst" (https://twitter.com/ThirstyyDuck) which is a direct clue to how the post about the Oregon Duck being an added character tp Fortnite is false and is a parody.

The Oregon Duck is (sadly) not getting added to Fortnite. The twitter/X page that the source was originally submitted from seems to be a comedy/parody page. Moreover there are no other sources that have this claim of the Oregon Duck being in Fortnite whatsoever with a quick Google search, scrolling through the first 3-4 pages there is nothing that even remotely supports this claim.

As of February 6th 2025, this claim is false. The original post that shared this information came from an Oregon Ducks parody page on Twitter/X that gives satire information. There has been no official announcement from Fortnite or Epic games to confirm if the skin is coming to the game. All in all, as of right now this claim is false and the Oregon Duck is not coming to Fortnite.

I could not find any publication that mentioned the Oregon Duck being added to Fortnite. Additionally, the person who first claimed on Twitter does not seem to have any sources to back it up. I could not find the person who initially made the graphic since no other articles discussed this. Therefore, I believe this claim is false.

Unfortunetly this statement is false. The source link leads to a tweet made on the social media platform "X" by a user "RizzyDuck." Rizzy duck is not a real person nor a real source. When searched up on google social media platforms with the same username come up. No other articles are found with this headline, concluding that this statement is clickbate.

This claim is blatantly untrue, with the X user admitting to only "getting your hypes up" and the addition of the mascot to the game not happening. The page is also a University of Oregon fan account.
