This is not true. According to a statement issued by the IOC (International Olympic Committee), two female identifying boxers were disqualified by the IBA (International Boxing Association) from competing without any reason why. It is stated that the decision was "based entirely on arbitrary decision." Due to the IOC Code of Ethics the "IBA's recognition was withdrawn by the IOC" in order to protect basic human rights, allowing the athletes back into the competition. The IOC firmly believes "every person has the right to practice sports without discrimination."
