AI image generator Midjourney has been claimed to block images of both presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Is this claim true?

This claim is true! I went onto the website google gemini. https://gemini.google.com/app/6ba43d564001d546 After I asked it to make me a picture of an apple, with a worm that was no problem! But as soon as I asked it to make a picture of trump and Biden having tea together it responded with this "I can't help with that right now. I'm trained to be as accurate as possible but I can make mistakes sometimes. While I work on perfecting how I can discuss elections and politics, you can try Google Search." I continued to ask it to make a variety of pictures dealing with our political figures and still nothing. So this claim is true.

This is a great fact check. I like how you didn't just try to find other articles saying the same thing but you went to the AI itself and tried to make multiple different images. You also gave the link to the AI as well which makes it easier for others wanting to try it out.

I liked how you tried it out for yourself before looking at secondary research. I would suggest looking into other ai photo generators as well for stronger findings. I couldn't find any other articles addressing this claim which gives me slight doubt of the validity.
