It's all over my Tiktok page that the BBC has been put on standby for a royal announcement, supposedly about Kate Middleton

This claim is misleading. These speculations came from viral posts online. BBC has not confirmed with any news outlets that they have been put on standby for a Royal announcement. According to Forbes, Buckingham Palace usually gives the media a warning. For this reason, although giving a warning is not out of the ordinary for them, we cannot confirm if BBC has been put on standby because they have not confirmed or made a comment on the situation. Kate Middleton has been out of the public eye ever since she had abdominal surgery, which was announced on January 17.
