This is true. On March 16, Kardashian posted a series of photos on Instagram with the caption, "On my way to go find Kate." During this time, it had not yet been revealed that Kate Middleton is battling cancer (she publicly announced this on March 22). After Middleton's announcement, many people returned to the post telling Kardashian to remove the post and issue Middleton an apology. “After the news of her having cancer has been revealed, you should really take this down. It’s extremely insensitive and you owe our princess an apology,” one person commented (Independent). Another person commented, "Can you please go find an apology instead” (Miami Herald). Kim Kardashian nor any representatives have publicly spoken on this matter.

This article summarizes the hate Kim Kardashian is receiving after her recent Instagram post mentioning the Princess of Wales. Two days ago Kim Kardashian posted a variety of photos with the caption, "On my way to go find Kate", adding fuel to the Kate Middleton conspiracy theories circulating online. Most of the comments on the post are criticizing Kardashian for being insensitive to Kate's ongoing health concerns. One commenter wrote, "Nothing like a celebrity who allegedly hates rumors, spreading rumors." Another said, "To mock a woman who has a medical problem is so low."

With this in mind, the article summarizes the hate that Kim is receiving, and briefly summarizes why Kate has been absent from the public eye due to an abdominal surgery in January. I verified this claim with two other articles that I will link below. The other articles I referenced line up with the claims made in the Hindustan Times. All of the articles referenced statements from the palace that state that Kate should make her reappearance into the public eye near March 31 (Easter.) Overall, the Hindustan Times piece may seem slightly exaggerated, but is overall true in the facts it presents. Kim Kardashian may be adding to the rumors, but I don't believe she intended to purposefully mock the princess. Rather, I believe it was supposed to be a satirical joke that was poorly received.

Great job adding multiple reference articles to your factcheck. You did a great job going into depth about these sources and explaining why they related to the issue. The addition and use of date stamps in your fact check was also very helpful.

It is indeed true that Kim Kardashian made a comment relating to Kate Middletons absence. She posted a post publicly on her instagram a photo of her next to a car, captioning it, "On my way to go find Kate." She is now facing backlash from multiple outlets, calling her distasteful and irresponsible for putting down a woman post surgery. Fact checking this claim was not complicated, all I did was go directly to Kardashians Instagram account to see the post. Multiple trustworthy sources were also commenting on the issue.

You did a good job summarizing the claim and event. I would suggest linking the post so that other people can use your work as more of a reference point and not just a claim. I would also suggest you link some of the other sources you found that were also commenting on this situation.
