This link shows who the patriots took with their number 3 pick. In the article you can clearly see that the team took Drake Maye (QB) out of North Carolina. This proves that the post in incorrect and gives another reason as to why you should double check.

Now since the draft finished, we can see that this claim is not true.
With the 3rd pick in the NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected North Carolina QB, Drake Maye.

I used ESPN which is one of the most trustworthy sources when it comes to sports talking about the process in which the Patriots used to draft a quarterback. You can also look at Patriots social media to see that they selected a qb with the third overall pick.

This is not confirmed. Former Patriots running back, James White, has expressed his opinions on what the team should do for the upcoming draft, however, nothing is confirmed yet.

This source is from a Las Vegas Raiders Instagram page that would prefer and is stating this because if the Patriots did not take one of the top 3 quarterbacks in this year's upcoming NFL Draft that would leave the possibility of either Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels to be selected at 13 for the Raiders. This is not confirmed and many mock drafts from experts have the Patriots selecting a QB at 3 despite needing multiple positions. This post comes from a page that focuses content that supports the Las Vegas Raiders, an AFC rival of the Patriots. The page makes the claim that the Patriots won't draft a QB in the 2024 draft which has no real backing or evidence and is most likely what the page hopes will happen rather than what will happen. The Patriots best bet at success for next year starts with a QB.

This is already proven false, as the 2024 NFL has already passed and was announced in April. The Patriots had the 3rd overall pick and did end up selecting a Quarterback in UNC's Drake Maye.
