This claim is false. McEntire was accused of calling Swift an "entitled brat" at the 2024 Super Bowl (LVIII) after McEntire performed the national anthem (ABC news). A Facebook group called America Loves Liberty made a post stating that McEntire was disappointed at Swift. According to the New York Post, the post said, "Reba McIntire [sic] talks about how disappointed she was to look up at the big screen while performing The National Anthem, only to see Taylor Swift laughing and drinking and making a mockery of the event,” read the post, before claiming McEntire replied: “I let her have it afterward. She’s an entitled little brat. "On Saturday, March 16, McEntire took to Instagram to address this rumor, saying “I did not say this. Taylor is a wonderful artist, strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and the music industry.”

I like how succint you were in answering this claim and pulling up a direct quote to prove it wrong. I also liked how you embedded the links directly in your claim.

There are plenty of different reputable news sites posting about this incident and the words said towards Taylor Swift. Reba recently posted a screenshot of a fake news story about this incident with the caption, "Please don't believe everything you see on the internet." I can't find any proof that Reba did call Taylor Swift an entitled brat, but there also isn't any hard evidence anywhere to prove that she didn't. It's honestly her words against the public's words. Because all of the news sites posting about this also are sharing Reba's comments afterwards it makes me believe that the original false is claim. She has come out and set the record straight that she didn't say this and there is no bad blood between the two singers!

You did a great job defending your claim even though there is some uncertainty on whether Reba McEntire called Taylor Swift a brat you did a great job by backing up your claim with different sources to even talking about the post that Reba made saying that its false information. Good job!
