After decades of rising life expectancy, the increases appear to be slowing. A new study calls into question how long even the healthiest of populations can live.

What takes this into account? Most of the older people grew up without microplastics and haven't dealt with the modern technology we have faced all of our lives. Does any religion take into account or lifestyles?

According to the CDC, this seems to be correct as a recent study has shown that life expectancy is decreasing just over half of a year from 2020 to 2021. This was in the midst of a pandemic, however this article by the Times seems to be continuing the trend of life expectancy going down.

I agree with you and think your sources are credible. The CDC is a very credible source when it comes to human health. Articles from Harvard, John Hopkins University, and The Washington Post also suggest that life expectancy is decreasing.

I agree with your fact-check. I like your use of statistics, as well as the CDC being a reliable source, because their organization specializes in the human health department. The way you noted the pandemic helps picture confounding factors into the declining trend of life expectancy.

According to a Politico article quoting the CDC, the life expectancy has risen after 2 years of declining. While drug related deaths have been increasing, the decline of deaths related to COVID 19 has been a leading factor to an increase of life expectancy

I enjoyed reading your response and was thankful for your use of a creditable source. Citing  a government source is a trust worthy way to find correct evidence. I also thought it was important you mentioned that drug related deaths are increasing, but life expectancy as a whole is still increasing. These are important facts that could be meddled or taken out of context.
