This is an extremely misleading headline, while it is true. The choice to say "strange modern structures" leads the reader to believe that the structures were previously unknown, and the words modern and structure both relate to building, architecture, and humanity than natural formations. However, this is an article about ice that is refreezing in crater-like formations that scientists have been researching for over a decade. These are natural processes involving ice that scientists are now learning more about, as they have just discovered that the ice is more recently frozen than expected. I don't believe "strange modern structures" to be the most honest way to title an article about this research, as even though the findings are credible and interesting, it invokes thoughts of buildings or structures that are man or otherwise unnaturally made.

This headline read to me as claiming there are manmade structures at the seafloor of the Arctic Ocean. This is very misleading. Upon looking at where the article got it's information from, I saw that it was describing natural processes that are happening today, reshaping the Arctic Ocean's seafloor. These processes Because these processes are new and occurring today, it is not a lie to call it a 'modern' structure. This title is attention grabbing, but entirely misses the point - that the structures are really ice that is growing and shrinking due to temperature changes. I found this video as a source for some of the article's information. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=85&v=nqdt3Qkpyyo&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.indy100.com%2Fscience-tech%2Fnew-underwater-structures-arctic&source_ve_path=MzY4NDIsMjM4NTE
