This claim is valid because a natural disaster such as this provides Trump with the opportunity to reenforce his position as a strong presidential candidate through his actions. During his presidential term, he dealt with Hurricane Harvey. During this natural disaster, he made federal funding available to Texans, which meant "grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster." FEMA With Hurricane Milton, he is able to prove he can properly handle the situation once again.

Trump as also previously used Hurricane Helene to present the Biden-Harris administration as "an incompetent rabble, unable to meet the basic needs of the American people". Jewish News

The first link that you used for your quote does not work and the jewishnews.com is a conservative/right wing biased news source according to mediabiasfactcheck.com

I don't agree with this claim being true, Trump lied about the Biden administration stealing money from that fund to give to the middle east but when he was in office, he took money from that same fund to fun hid border wall project.
