This is false. There is no evidence to support the claim that the people who stormed the Capitol during the January 6th insurrection were affiliated with the Democratic Party or a far left-wing group in any way. Additionally, this claim comes from a source that is biased and has a history of spreading misinformation.

As reported in this article, court documents show that people charged with January 6th related crimes have admitted that the Democratic Party and left-wing groups were not responsible for the insurrection.

I like how you were able to disprove this claim by noting how biased Fox News can be while also giving proof that the rioters were right wing, with your source from NPR. Effective in proving your point.

While the January 6th raid was a controversial miscalculation in security, there is no argument that what happened there has placed a distinct mark on the republican party. Fox News is typically a right leaning radical source of information which explains pointing the blame to Antifa, but what intrigues me the most is how the supposed supporters got into the capitol to begin with. I have first hand accounts of going to mass protests and it is HEAVILY enforced with armed police and other security officials, I have seen concerts more secure than the January 6th raid.

I agree with your point that this source is clearly biased, but I would prefer a little more elaboration on the security during the January 6th raid. Maybe a source showing or describing the lack of security.

This claim is completely false. The people who attacked the capitol on Jan. 6 were exactly who they were: Trump supporters, not FBI operatives. The Democratic party also had nothing to do with the attack whatsoever. When the Jan. 6th testimonies were happening FBI director Christopher Wray was asked if he had any evidence to believe that the attackers were "fake" Trump supporters. He responded by saying "We have not seen evidence of that", not to mention he was appointed by Trump. So overall this entire claim is false and the article is coming from an influenced source (Fox News). The source came from Tucker Carlson who has been known for spreading lies about Jan. 6th.
