Yes this is a true claim. After reading the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) it is not directly stated that the two men had killed the XL bully. A direct quote from the article "Two men from Slough aged 20 and 22, were arrested on Friday on suspicion of criminal damage, causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal" though this does not say that the two had actually done it, it was enough evidence for law enforcement to take the two into custody. In another article written on October 13, 2024 from Daily Mail UK it states that the two were arrested on "suspicion of criminal damage, causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal". Both articles are true to the claim given, since it does not give a direct "yes" or "no".
