Local cops arrested an armed man outside Donald Trump’s Coachella Valley rally on Saturday, and the local sheriff said it may have been a third assassination attempt against the former president

Its important to remember that the authorities of the investigation are still determining the armed mans intentions if this was truly an assassination attempt. Sometimes misleading information can spread rapidly, therefore it is crucial to rely on the official updates from law enforcement and credible sources as investigations continues to unfold before spreading certain statistics. I do see that you have not fully stated weather or not the man had the intent of killing Trump, it shows that you are not "picking sides" or lying about what you are writing. Maybe expanding on Trumps Coachella Valley Rally like what it was for and what the purpose of the rally was would further develop the idea and help each individual have a conclusion of its own.

First off the arrest seems to be very evident, as several local news sources also reported it here: Los Angeles Times ABC7. I also found the press release from the Riverside Country Sheriff's office where he was arrested, here. Additionally, the press release states "This incident did not impact the safety of former President Trump or attendees of the event"(Riverside Sheriff, 2024).  The claim that was made by the Sheriff is that in his opinion they stopped a potential assassination, but the article originally tagged above says, "The Secret Service believes it unlikely Miller was attempting to assassinate the president, and the FBI is not investigating it as such, sources told The Post"(The New York Post, 2024). After extensive searches, I cannot find a video clip or official website about the press conference itself stating this quote. Though the investigation is still ongoing there is currently no evidence that Miller was attempting an assassination.
