This claim passes as true especially in the times of our current media, many news sources nationally are covering this controversy like https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/sean-diddy-combs-brutally-orally-33896555.amp - and not to mention the wide attention diddy has had on social media in the past two months alone.

This is true. Lots of news stations are reporting on this, but I am using the ABC article and the AP news article. According to the article by AP news, Diddy's lawyers asked a new york judge to force prosecutors to disclose the names of his accusers in his sex trafficking case. The reason for the request was that he needs to know the identities of his alleged victims so he can prepare adequately for trial, said his lawyers in the letter to the judge. The lawyers also added that his case is special, because of the number of accusers. They credit the vast number to "his celebrity status, wealth and the publicity of his previously settled lawsuit." His trial is set for May 5, 2025.
