After doing research about the different videos and photos that were being circulated about the fires, it’s clear that they are all false conspiracy theories. Major news outlets such as CNN, AP, and BBC all confirm that the videos that are claiming to be the cause are taken from other things that happened from SpaceX, other states, and even other countries. The articles also link to the original videos and reports on the actual event which clearly show them unrelated to the Lahaina fire. Most of the original photos and videos of the conspiracy theories were taken down and flagged as misinformation which further confirms that these claims are false.
