For people looking to end an early pregnancy, herbs may be a viable and effective option. How they might get used and if they will need to be combined with other methods is highly individualized. They work and are safe to other parts of your body including your liver and other organs.

In the original article, it stated that there was a study done in 2021 where clients requested to use herbs during abortions. But the article failed to mention who conducted the study so it seems to suggest that this information is unreliable. The original article also states that herbs are an effective and viable option for abortions. But another article states, "using herbs, plants, or other untested chemicals can put you at risk for things like poisoning, an allergic reaction, or an incomplete abortion." This showcases that using herbs for abortion is not safe. Since it can cause adverse reactions that may harm the individual. So overall using herbs for abortion may work but are not a safe option since it harms the individual.

I agree with this fact check that this claim is misleading and for the most part false, I have found some more sources to back up this argument. Although there are many resources online to help you carry out a herbal abortion it is not recommended and proven to be dangerous and ineffective. Along with their lack of success the herbs commonly used to carry out these at-home abortions have been proven to be extremely toxic and dangerous. This is rather dangerous misinformation and extremely not recommended to follow.
