This is a satirical story, which is fabricated and untrue. Below I've attached a link to the original post, world daily news. They're known to occasionally make satirical posts from eccentric photos, such as Brian Morris' mugshot where he is seen laughing. Brian Morris was the man they said dumped manure on his boss' lawn. In reality the photo is from a DUI, and the claim is supposed to be an entertaining story. I found three sites that confirm my claim that it's a lie.

3 sites that I found that support my stance:

The common saying, "a picture speaks a thousand words" is even more true with this story. It's very helpful that you were able to find the original story of the man in the mugshot. That alone makes this story increasingly less believable.

Likely not misinformation

The incident happened back in 2018, 54-year old Brian Morris, from the small town of Clarendon Hills in Dupage County won over 124 million dollars and bought over 20,000 tons of manure. There a plenty of news articles on this but I got more information from a factcheck. One of the major articles written about that used old photos from an incident months prior and had to rebuke there article as they had spread false information about Brian Morris.

I like how you did an in depth check and also noted the time frame of this event. It is almost misleading when articles leave out the actual timing of the event, and make it seem current.

I think it's important how you included the timeline, and how you mentioned the article that was taken down for spreading misinformation on the topic. I would maybe include one more source on the topic. The source you provided states that it did happen. I think it would be helpful if you included an article with a parallel claim.

I appreciate the effort you took to factcheck this claim. It is false that this just outright never happened and was a made up story for the purpose of traction. Another good source I would use for your response is NBC Chicago that confirmed it was a made up headline. They also mention how this headline was shared over 55 thousand times on Facebook. Shows how many people do not look at the sources their news is coming from.
