On October 24th, Phoenix police arrested a man in connection with a central Phoenix postal box fire that damaged mail-in ballots. The 35 year-old man was booked on suspicion of arson, a felony count, according to police. However, the other attacks on Oregon and Washington ballots disrupted the election process and an official said that these were “direct attacks on democracy.”

The claim could benefit from clearer organization to improve readability and understanding. It jumps between different points—first focusing on the Phoenix arrest, then shifting to the other attacks in Oregon and Washington—without clear transitions between the topics. Breaking it into two distinct sentences or paragraphs would help: one explaining the Phoenix incident and another discussing the broader impact on ballots in Oregon and Washington.

Why did you use AZ Central as a source? How do you know if it's reliable or not? How are they also absolutely sure that it wasn't politically motivated?

Source legitimacy: NPR is a very credible source, even listen on this websites 'trustable sources'. In their article, they write"Last week in Arizona, 35-year-old Dieter Klofkorn told Phoenix police that he had set fire to a USPS mailbox on Oct. 24. "Klofkorn stated that he committed the arson because he wanted to be arrested and that his actions were not politically motivated and not related to anything involving the upcoming election,"
