This article from Yahoo talks about how “Japan and Europe have just set a joint record for the largest amount of plasma contained in one apparatus”. The article is very clear in what it’s calming and has links to credible sources throughout it.  I would say that this is a reliable and accurate source for what it’s trying to claim. It also clarifies that this is not an admitted change and could be decades till it works.  This article is clear, factual and does not exaggerate or mislead.

I would agree that this claim seems to be true. Another way of confirming is to explore whether other articles are reporting the same thing. Many reliable articles such as the European Union (https://projects.research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu/en/horizon-magazine/fusion-energy-quest-makes-big-advance-eu-japan-reactor) have reported a similar story reporting the same facts.

While I appreciate you checking the source provided, you did not look further into the source and provide other sources confirming this claim, which do exist out there. An extension of the claim would have helped as well.

It is good that you checked the source provided but please provide some more sources to further back up the claim.
