This is true, there is no real mention so far of nominating Harris as the democratic candidate in 2028. The article here is a good one, and the most credible source that seems to be discussing this topic. It outlines that democratic candidates in the past who lost their elections were not asked to run again, and it is unlikely that Kamala will run again as well.  Overall, it is too soon to tell if Harris will be nominated as the 2028 candidate.
