After checking a few different sites, I think that this claim is nor true or false but rather misleading. Yes, chocolate can be good for you, but only if the right kind is eaten and in moderation. According to John Hopkins Medicine, dark chocolate can increase heart health and improve brain function. According to EatingWell.com, eating too much chocolate can lead to health issues such as kidney damage and sugar overload.

After skimming through your sources, and one from the CDC I came to the conclusion that this claim is likely not misinformation. The article from the CDC mentions many of your points, specifically how chocolate comes from cocoa beans which can be healthy if eaten in moderation. However researchers are still attempting to figure out if concentrated amounts of chocolate actually improve overall health. Once again I think this article is likely not misinformation.

I think it is important to mention the fact that it can be healthy only in moderation, because saying the original claim is true can be misleading because it may be unhealthy in large quantities, so I think it is helpful that you made sure to clarify that.

While I think that this claim is true, it seems to be slightly misleading. Chocolate might benefit people's health in someways, but be harmful to health in other ways and in large amounts. Stating that it is good for you overall is a generalization.
