Caffeine causes brain fog: Caffeine-induced brain fog is common but still unhealthy. It is related to chronic fatigue and symptoms include forgetfulness, confusion and inability to focus.

A lot of the articles I found regarding the question of "if caffeine causes brain fog" mentioned that caffeine may make brain fog worse rather than being the soul cause of it. Assuming that most of the time you are drinking caffeine in order to cure pre-existing brain fog if that makes sense. So no I don't think caffeine is the soul cause of brain fog but yes I do think that it does negatively effect pre-existing brain fog that you're trying to cure with said caffeine.

This is a good response, however, in the future it would make a stronger argument if you point out what studies psychology today used and how they were backed up to some extent. Because although this article is found to be a credible source as the person who has wrote this has wrote many books on the topic of neuroscience, the article itself is a bit dodgy due to it's lack of crediting as to how someone knows this other than the author's credibility itself. So in the future be careful with what articles you use.

I think this claim is a little bit misleading. Caffeine can have different effects on people based on how often they drink caffeine. The article included is very scholarly and goes into depth about the benefits and and drawbacks of caffeine. Some people are more sensitive to caffeine than others. People who don't regularly drink caffeine tend to be more sensitive to its effects. Consuming caffeine 3 and even 6 hours before bedtime can significantly disrupt sleep.
