This can help promote the fat cells in the body to start burning energy. She then spoke about a study by the National Library of Medicine, "Cinnamaldehyde induces fat cell-autonomous thermogenesis and metabolic reprogramming, " further proving her claim that cinnamaldehyde can help boost metabolism when the study claimed "CA observed previously and further supporting its potential metabolic benefits on humans. Given the wide usage of cinnamon in the food industry, the notion that this popular food additive, instead of a drug, may activate thermogenesis, could ultimately lead to therapeutic strategies against obesity that are much better adhered to by participants"

Although YouTube may not be the be source for your information, this statement is true. News Medical discusses how cinnamon can help boost your metabolism by using more energy to process the spice rather than other foods. They describe the effects of cinnamon in the body as "insulin-like" effect in the body, demonstrated by how sugar is broken down in the body. Another article by WebMD also describes cinnamon's potential benefits on blood pressure, "Cinnamon contains potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Potassium helps to counteract sodium’s effect on blood pressure and controls the heart rate. Potassium is also involved in nerve function." Overall cinnamon has been proven to have several benefits to the human body, granted, in moderation, including but not limited to metabolism.

Your comment goes into a lot of detail and talks about the science behind cinnamon. However, I think the sources you used weren't the most credible. I still think this is a great comment though and I like how you broke down the science of how cinnamon benefits the body.

From what I've read on the different websites that I've found, your claim is true! Cinnamon not only contains cinnamaldehyde, but it increases the sensitivity of insulin in the body which in turn helps reduce the amount of fat storage and decreases the cravings for sugar. When taking a cinnamon dosage, it is important to keep in mind your age and body weight because depending on old you are and how much you weigh, you will need to take less/more cinnamon that other people.
