This article by The Independent claims that Trump allegedly plans to ban trans people from joining the military and discharge current trans military members, which is estimated to be about 15,000 officers. The article admits that this claim cannot be confirmed as no official statement has come from Trump or his team. However, the author quotes multiple comments that Trump has previously made about his disdain against trans members of the military that make these reports more believable. Multiple other sources have recently speculated Trump's plans, including The Times and Human Rights Campaign. In conclusion, the article presents the information fairly and accurately. Although whether or not Trump will actually enforce these bans when he returns to the presidency, the trusted information that is available is making it seem very likely.

This is a great factcheck, potentially in the future you could do some further research and provide another source that supports your point. Otherwise great work!

There are reports that Donald Trump and his transition team plan to develop an executive order that would medically discharge 15,000 transgender service members from the military. But according to Military.com, "no decisions on this issue have been made." These reports came out, and it's been known that the military has had a hard time recruiting people to join, and they would have to fill 15,000 people's jobs if they are going to let them go. These transgender people would be termed with the phrase of "unfit to serve." Additionally, the average transgender service member has served for 12 years, while the average person serves for around six-ish years, depending on multiple factors.
