I think that safety in sports is extremely important and that we should totally put more of a focus on it especially NFL.

Although this is an opinion, there are many reasons why one might feel this way. A lot of different news websites including NPR, Forbes, and PBS have all reported the NFL concussion scandal (https://www.pbs.org › newshour › show › former-nfl-pl..., https://www.npr.org/2022/10/13/1128524103/nfl-concussion-latest, https://www.forbes.com/sites/nicoleroberts/2024/01/31/nfl-faces-backlash-again-for-concussion-settlement-shortcomings/). There is a very serious issue with NFL football players getting concussions; the NFL's concussion protocol states that all players faced with a concussion diagnoses must go through a concussion checklist, getting signed off by a doctor before being cleared to play. However, the website does not discuss what the NFL is doing to prevent concussions from happening in the first place (https://www.nfl.com/playerhealthandsafety/health-and-wellness/player-care/concussion-protocol-return-to-participation-protocol). According to Scripps news, the NFL is trying to find new ways to make helmets more safe. Overall, although the NFL is taking some preventative measures, they need to take more action than they are already taking to prevent more health issues among players.

I agree with this claim and your reasoning for it, I also like that you included multiple sources for why there should be more preventative measures for injuries and emphasis on safety. While I believe this claim is true personally, I think it should be labeled "can't be true," although it's good that you acknowledge it as an opinion to begin your fact check.
