Article seems to suggest that Paul did not pay Tyson to throw the fight and has proven himself a legitimate athlete many times.

this article does claim that the fight was legitimate. However, the source of this claim--Most Valuable Promotions-- was founded by Jake Paul. With such a blatant vested interest, it is obvious that they would say the fight was legitimate. Since Paul won, Most Valuable Promotions claiming anything other than legitimacy essentially means they would be admitting that he didn't win.

I don't think he paid Mike Tyson to lose the fight. That being said I don't think a fight between a 28 year old fighter and a 58 year old retired boxer is a fair fight. Mike Tyson got paid for being there. Him losing the way he did not look good for either fighter. It was a lose lose for both men except for the massive payday they both received.
