This is false. There is no data online stating exactly how many people are currently incarcerated in relation to the January 6th Capitol Riot. According the the United States Attorney's Office District of Columbia, at least 562 defendants have served or are currently serving periods of incarceration. Many of the defendants had prior criminal histories and all were charged in legitimate courts of law so the use of the term "hostages" is misleading and incorrect. Additionally, Trumps claim that Biden pardoning his son is an "abuse and miscarriage of Justice" is also false. There are limitations on the abilities of the presidential pardon and Biden choosing to pardon his son is fair under those limitations.
