Ramaswamy, the incoming co-chair of President Elect Donald Trump's commission to cut back government spending, wants to block a government loan to one of Musk's competitors. Musk is a close ally of Trump and is the co-chair of the commission.

This claim is exaggerated and misleading. While Vivek Ramaswamy has expressed that he will scrutinize the deal he hasn’t explicitly stated that he wants to block it. According to YahooNews, “Vivek Ramaswamy said DOGE would investigate a federal loan worth about $7.5 billion to a Tesla rival.” This doesn’t necessarily entail the notion that he wants to block the loan; therefore, this claim is misleading.
