"NFL legend Randy Moss is set to take some time away from his punditry work on ESPN, the network announced on Friday, due to an unknown health issue.

In a statement on X, ESPN said the former wide receiver would step away from his role on “Sunday NFL Countdown” for an “extended time” in order “to focus on a personal health challenge.”"

This claim is true. Moss announced his departure from the show on an Instagram Live taken from the set of Sunday NFL Countdown, during which he revealed his personal battle against an undisclosed internal health issue and urged fans to get their checkups and bloodwork done. ESPN later released a statement confirming his departure, which has since been reported on by AP News, Sports Illustrated, and USA Today Sports. The NFL Countdown crew began their next broadcast with a message of support directed towards him and his family, and later paid tribute by continuing the "You Got Mossed" segment in his absence.

Having four different sources and a source from Randy Moss himself made it very easy to tell that the claim is true.
